Surfing is cruel to the neck and shoulders. Whether it’s carrying a heavy longboard on your head or paddling for hours, there’s no avoiding a certain level of impact on the upper body. Unfortunately, this impact can lead to chronic pain and even headaches. No fun. This myofascial release technique is designed to release various pressure points within the trapezius muscle. By targeting these points, this technique releases tension where it accumulates most. Grab a lacrosse ball and give it a try.
