Shaun White, who’s currently working towards his fourth Olympic games where he’ll look to compete in the halfpipe in South Korea next winter, has listed his beachfront Encinitas home for a cool $7.995 million. Just about market value in the exorbitant California real estate market.
The 3,500-square foot home, which White reportedly has leased in recent years, is pimped out to the max, too, featuring steel-cased doors, dark wood floors, marble countertops and wrought-iron chandeliers. It’s a bit more of an uppity vibe than the flop-house-like snowboarding condo in Mammoth most of us would be used to.
Tiered decking adorns the outside of the house which includes a vanishing edge spa and a private stairway down to the beach. According to records, the house was purchased five years ago for $3.85 million. You can see the full layout, here.
White finished off the season in solid form, winning the U.S. Open halfpipe competition to head into the offseason with momentum.
