These guys are awesome. It’s so damn inspiring to watch a crew chase their passions—mostly because I like doing pretty much the same thing: ride snow, play in the water and travel. And even if I can’t do that, say, right now, I can watch cool stuff like this. For free.
Mike Henitiuk, Joe Schuster, Matt Margetts and Riley Leboe are back with their series, Seeking Nirvana, an extremely well shot, and seemingly well thought-out serial video project—who knows though, these things always come together at the last minute–that follows four skiers as they look for adventure, mostly in the backcountry. Episode 4 has them on an off-season chase to Chile. The snow doesn’t look incredible but the terrain does and the way the video is shot truly brings out those magical little nuances of mountain geology, even if the conditions weren’t as good as some of their past escapades.
Plus their side adventures are always worthy. Definitely one of my favorite web series of last year. Plus it’s getting me hyped to chase it this season, too.
