If you’ve ever experienced the public transportation system in Switzerland you know how well developed and convenient it is. Nearly every area of the relatively small country is reachable by train or bus. Save the high country. But the Glacier Express, which runs from Zermatt to St. Moritz, will set you up to reach that high country.
That’s the premise behind the new video series, The Glacier Express, featuring legendary Swiss snowboarder Fredi Kalbermatten, Tahoe shredder, filmmaker, and artist Gray Thompson, and photographer Silvano Zeiter. The trio uses the train to ride some really good powder in arguably the most iconic mountain range in the world – of course the Swiss Alps. Go ahead, ride along. And get over there if you can. It’s worth it.
