You don’t hear of people getting busted on the slopes much these days. But a 22-year-old snowboarder in Park City, Utah was cited for “Reckless Skiing” (yes, we get the irony) after he collided with an 11-year-old boy, breaking his skis and sending the tyke to Urgent Care to have the injuries looked at. The snowboarder was awarded a misdemeanor under the Park City municipal code. “If they are (snowboarding) recklessly, there’s a likelihood that they could be charged, cited or even arrested,” said Sgt. Vaifoa Lealaitafea with Park City Police. The snowboarder’s name was not released.
