Being a professional surfer is the dream. But between competitions, travel, and other obligations, Championship Tour surfers rarely find themselves at home. Hailing from Santa Barbara (now San Clemente), California, CT surfer Lakey Peterson rounded out the season in sixth. She had a solid year with runner-up finishes at both the MEO Pro Portugal and the Surf City El Salvador Pro.
