In April 2015 I spent two weeks on Lombok Island. For the first four days I was running landscape photography workshops. After that, I got myself a motorbike and a surfboard. I traveled along the beautiful coast looking for good surf. I always took my camera and documented places like Seger, Grupuk, Air Guling, Kuta, and others.
Wave quality wasn’t anything surprising, but at the same time, I was so amazed at how empty it was. Perfectly breaking waves with only a few surfers out. Just take a look… it’s sick!
