Quite possibly the best day of surf most of these surfers have had to date. Photo: YouTube//Screenshot
On June 29, things were happening at Balangan. A big west swell was in the water and Balangan did what it’s famous for.
For about two hours, from around 10 a.m. to noon, the lineup at one of Bali’s best waves was relatively empty and firing. An offshore wind howled hard enough to make paddling in a bit of a struggle, but when surfers did manage to get one, it was likely a very good one.
There were quite a few average Joes out there, and Surf Raw Files made sure to film them on what might have been the best day of their surfing lives to date.
