Say what you will about bodyboarding. This short video is as terrifying as it is inspiring. Dagdraumar, the Icelandic word for “daydreaming,” was acclaimed videographer Allan Wilson’s entry into the Relentless Energy Drink Short Stories, a competition for young filmmakers in music and action sports way back when in 2011.
The film is an homage to Wilson’s love of bodyboarding and the story of those who work in the city for months on end so they can spend their off time in the water. Dagdraumar was shot in Southwest UK (among other places) and features the insanely talented rider Jack Johns.
