The Inertia

Dylan Graves likes to get weird. And like Ben Gravy, or Jamie O’Brien, he occupies a niche that’s a little more everyman, always looking for new places to surf other than the standard point or beachbreak. He’s someone we can all relate to. Hence his popular web show, Weird Waves, where he rides waves from Bend to Munich to Jackson Hole. Well, Mr. Graves, one of our favorites, just released a new shortboard he’s aptly calling, the “Weird Series.”

Designed in conjunction with Hayden Shapes, the Weird Series is for “the weird, the wonderful, and the great waves that might come your way,” he says. That means it’s a bit of an all-arounder. Depending on your perspective, the Weird Series has a bat, or swallow tail, and is definitely a little wider than your average shortboard. And the coolest part? It comes in Hayden’s Future Flex, or as a soft board. Certainly plenty to get weird with.

Dylan sent us the edit above that he produced with the help of Matt Payne to celebrate the release. Enjoy!
