It is officially Pipe season. The first real swell of the year recently rolled though, and all the best were on it. From October 13 to October 16, the YouTube channel Surfers of Hawaii was on the beach to document it all.
“The first real Pipeline swell hits the North Shore and the locals are eager the get some waves before the winter crowds make their way to Hawaii,” SOH wrote. “Wave heights are in the 8-10 foot range with some occasional 12-footers.”
The surfers included in the seven-minute clip you see here are John John Florence, Zeke Lau, Mason Ho, Jamie O’Brien, Josh Moniz, Mikey Bruneau, Ivan Florence, Michael Ho, Billy, Kemper, and more. A three-day super session, right?
