I got rather fed up a few years ago shaping all flat, smaller-wave boards and started working on this thing that Trevor Gordon decided to call the Piggyback. The first versions had more nose width, but that was whittled down over two or three variations into the current template — though the rocker, foil, bottom shape and rails have all stayed relatively stagnant. When something makes Trevor happy and has Sam Hammer saying how much he enjoys his in totally different conditions, I’m as good as convinced!
The thing to point out is: while at first glance it could be categorized as a keel fish, it’s not a small-wave design and needs modification when intended for poopy waves. It’s a lean-mean(-and-curvy-as-all)-good-wave-thingamajig.
