Wiping out is a huge part of surfing. It’s something that the very best on Earth have in common with us plebs. If you surf, you wipe out. Another universal experience in the surfing world is getting dropped in on. Oh, we’d never do it of course, but we’ve all had it done to us. The outrage! And if you surf on the Gold Coast, drop-ins are a little more common than many other places.
Here, thanks once again to Surf on Mars, we have a short video made up of clips featuring a few fails and a few drop-ins that are very, very blatant. Still though, getting a good wave at the Superbank will likely be worth the hours of frustration that came with it. Otherwise, no one would come back… and people sure do come back.
