Apartment living has its pros and cons. They can be cheaper. There’s generally less maintenance. If you’re lucky, you might have a gym or a pool or a fun little common area. They tend to be a little safer, depending on location of course, and insurance is cheaper. But the cons are there too. They’re small, you likely don’t have a lawn, you’ve the potential to have neighbors above, below, and on either side. If you live on a higher floor, you’re lugging your groceries and bike and whatever else either up the dimly lit stairs or piling into the elevator. Which is where the guy in the video above comes. Surfboards and elevators don’t mix.

This poor fella was just hoping to avoid the stairs when he got into the elevator with his surfboard. The surfboard leash, as you’ve likely seen by now, decided it wanted to stay on the floor it was already on. There’s only one thing that can possibly happen when a leash is outside the elevator and the elevator begins to move… and it happened.
