When Hurricane Narda began to swirl off the coast of Mexico last week, Wedge surfers had high hopes. Those hopes turned into reality on the morning of September 28, and there was no shortage of surfers in the water at Newport’s weirdest wave.
Many of the usual suspects were there, including Blair Conklin, Johnny Weber, Chris Ward, Tanner McDaniel, Cory Bolter, Alan “Parkrainjah” Hoffman, Koa Watson, and Jason Rhodes. Beefs TV is one of those usual suspects, too. And that crew was there to film the chaos.
As the day progressed things just got bigger and better. As usual at the Wedge, the session wasn’t so much about making it out, but simply about making it in.
