Italo Ferreira is a freak. We mean that in a good way, of course, but he’s a freak. He is just as excited about surfing as someone who is brand new to it. Just as psyched as any grom. One doesn’t get to be a surfer like Italo without surfing a lot. It would be easy, one would think, to become a bit of a wave snob if you spend your life traveling around the world to surf the best waves. But for Italo, the conditions don’t seem to matter. While the Tour is postponed, he’s at home doing what he loves. And doing it a lot. “Surf every day, regardless of conditions,” he writes. “That’s what moves me.” And what’s clear from watching the clip above is that what moves him is making him a freakishly good surfer.
