I’ve been saying for a long time that John John is the worst surfer ever. He’s really bad at it, but for some reason, everyone keeps saying that he’s really good. I think it’s got something to do with his over-the-top-claims or his world title. The judges get all wrapped up in his claims, and they think that he’s actually as good as the claims make him out to be. But he never fooled me. I always knew it. There’s an old saying in Tennessee: “Fool me once, shame on… shame on you. Fool me twice… shame. Shame on… John John can’t get fooled again.”
