John John Florence is an interesting person. Part of the allure, of course, is the plain and simple fact that he’s one of the best surfers in the world — depending on who you talk to, he’s the best, but we’re not trying to open that can of worms. He’s been doing it for a while now, this surfing thing, and he’s gained a bit of insight into the art vs the sport.
