Kelly Slater has his fingers in a lot of pies. In the words of Jay-Z, he’s not a businessman, he’s a business, man. There are so many pies it’s hard to keep track of them and whether they’re still in existence. Remember Purps? Is Purps still a thing? Outerknown is still a thing. The Surf Ranch is still a thing. There was something with Pottery Barn, too. And wasn’t there something to do with chia seeds at some point? You get the idea. He’s a business, man.
So it was with that in mind that the always-hilarious Luke Cederman (Ceder, man) flicked on Zoom and did an “interview” with Kelly Slater about his newest foray into product development: the waterproof toupee. And no, this is not real.
