It’s almost 2026, if you can believe it. In just five short weeks, the calendar will flip over, another year in the rearview. Things sure do move quickly, don’t they? With any luck, your year was full of waves. Good waves, bad waves, fun waves, waves that you’ll never forget and waves you wish you could forget. With that said, it’s just about time for the internet to be packed full of yearly roundups, so we’re going to kick it off with the video you see here: the best Lance’s Right of 2025.
“Best” is subjective, of course, and with the possible exception of a few lucky people, no one was at HT’s for every single day of year, but I think you’ll agree that the day in question is… pretty freaking good.
While the exact date isn’t known, Surf Raw Files was shooting at that famous stretch of reef in the Mentawai Island chain during the early dry season. The waves just didn’t stop, and for anyone who was there, the day will be burned into the memory banks for a long, long time.
