Lindsey Vonn, ski racing legend with 82 World Cup victories, three Olympic medals, four World Cup overall wins, and eight world championship medals under her belt, has accomplished most of her dreams. And recently, she knocked one more off the list: surfing with dolphins.
Vonn, who returned to skiing this year (and the podium) after a short dance with retirement, was wake surfing in Miami, Florida when she realized that she wasn’t alone behind the boat.
“Wake-surfing with dolphins OMG!” she wrote on Instagram. “Huge bucket list item checked off the list today. I’ve seen stuff like this on Instagram before, but never thought it would happen to me!”
