For a guy with a bum foot, Kelly Slater’s certainly been busy lately. From showing up to support Mark Cunningham’s art show to surfing the WSL’s Future Classic at his wave pool to, now, appearing on Beastie Boy Mike D’s Beats 1 Radio Show “The Echo Chamber,” the GOAT is always movin’ it would seem.
We’ve known for a while that although discovering surfing later in life, Mike D is one of the sport’s biggest devotees.
