Malibu, as we all know, can be an amazing wave. But most everyone who rides a surfboard knows that, too. So the crowds at one of Southern California’s most classic point breaks can be unruly, to put it mildly.
Case in point: above is a three-minute, quick cut I did that shows just one of the sets from Thursday, March 12, when the first south swell of the season was firing. I’ll have a full edit out soon but this was too good not to show the world. Enjoy the chaos in a single set.
