The Inertia

One thing that’s tough about really good waves is that they often rely on a relatively shallow bottom. Want to get tubed? You’re probably going to have to do it over reef that’s a little closer than you might be comfortable with. It’s part and parcel. It can be a tough thing to get over, especially in a place with clear water where the rock is flitting below your feet, but Mason Ho is certainly over it. For the life of me, I don’t understand how Mason has any flesh left on his bones. He’s well known for dancing dangerously close to the rocks, and in his most recent YouTube offering, he and Adam “Dome” Crawford surf a little place called The Pile, named for obvious reasons.
