Well, if you happen to be Mitch Parkinson and Joel is your cousin, the answer is obvious: yank his surfboard out from under his feet and continue on your merry way. And once you’ve continued on your merry way, leaving Parko swimming around out there, you would continue ripping, board under arm. And when the fancy hit you, you’d do a quick board switch, reel your own board back in by the leash, and be joined by a few dolphins who are celebrating what might just be the greatest response to getting burned that has ever happened.
