If you’ve ever had the pleasure of a dawn patrol session in Hawaii, you know that it’s one of life’s greatest gifts. The air is crisp, not yet warmed by the rising sun, the sand is cold from the night, and there’s usually a breath of wind that smells of the ocean. Sunrises in Hawaii, as you can imagine, are next level, as are sunsets. It’s a nice place. And it’s about to get even nicer, because it’s early Pipeline season. Nathan Florence recently took his GoPro out for a dawn patrol session at Backdoor, and it makes us really want to get on a plane. When’s that going to happen?
