Nathan Florence and Billy Kemper are the closest of friends. They’ve been through a lot together — traveling, hunting the biggest of waves, and dealing with the inevitable wipeouts that come along with them. And when they looked towards Panama for their next surf trip, they were excited about what Central America possibly had in store for them. As it turned out, it was a whole lot of dark, sandy barrels, perfect for hiding from the Panamanian sun.
