If you’re an American, yesterday was Thanksgiving. A time to reflect on the things in your life that you’re thankful for while arguing with your drunk uncle who always seems to have a large piece of dry turkey stuck in his teeth.
But if you’re an American surfer who happened to be in Hawaii, like Jamie O’Brien, Barron Mamiya, Landon McNamara, Makana Pang, Shane Dorian, or Luke Tema, you were at least able to get some very, very good waves at Pipeline before dinner.
