Blessed be the surf gods and the holy gift given to humanity known as El Niño. The Pacific has lit up in the past few days bringing waves up and down the California coast from Seal Beach to Santa Barbara to Mavericks. And that’s not all.
Of course Rincon, The Queen of the Coast, went completely off its rocker during the recent flurry of swell. But as is the case with solid conditions at the famed righthander, the crowds were sardined. Luckily for Dane Reynolds, Tanner, and Pat Gudauskas, they were able to sneak into a few good ones amid the chaos. The rail surfing from this trio is impeccable. Toss in a few airs and a fins-first tube (WTF?) at the 2:30 mark and you’ve got yourself a dream clip. More swell on the way!
