The Coffin brothers are jumping on the vlog bandwagon. And why wouldn’t they? Everybody else in the surf world seems to be toying with the trend as well and a handful of them are having great success in their own rights by sharing pieces of what the life of a professional surfer is like behind the scenes. Koa Rothman’s vlog has blown up in less than a year’s time and he already premiered a This Is Livin’ film to punctuate it. Jamie O’Brien and Ben Gravy are probably the pioneers of the whole movement, making it the thing to do in surfing now. And the great thing is that everybody produces content with their own flare and their own voice, making them all worth a look.
So what’s the Coffin family flavor? Let’s just say nobody’s getting through flat days by packing their brother into a trash can and pushing him down a hill…Conner and Parker are just going to surf and surf well. They seem a bit obsessed, actually. Which is to be expected when two young men grow up side by side with this much talent. It’s as if there’s a genetic code that dictates strong rail game. And the Coffin family seems to have cracked it.
