We’ve been through this. Dave Rastovich’s innate oceanic abilities make him as close to dolphin-like as one can be with two legs. Apparently, dolphins understand this, too.
Acclaimed Byron Bay-based filmmaker Nathan Oldfield recently teamed up with Dave for the video you see above, and in short, it’s mesmerizing. An especially jubilant pod of dolphins features heavily alongside Dave throwing some alternative craft on rail. And then, at about 3:59, nine dolphins party wave with Dave. We’re uncertain whether records of such things are kept, but this has to be a record breaking dolphin party wave, no? It makes for remarkable viewing nonetheless. It also begs the question: was this totally incidental or does Dave Rastovich have dolphin summoning powers?
