Taylor Steele has released some epic behind-the-scenes looks at his films on his YouTube channel, The Momentum Files. And there’s been scuttle on this one before but Mr. Steele recently posted this look at the making of the music behind Here and Now, and Kelly Slater’s intimate involvement in the process.
As you may recall, the concept behind 2012’s Here and Now is that 25 or so surfers and filmmakers went out in a single day to make a cut for the film. Some scored. Some not so much. But that’s the Sport of Kings. Kelly, of course, caught Cloudbreak in fine form. And his musical skills were in fine form as well. Have a look.
