Southern California is experiencing a run of south swell. And when that happens, this Newport Beach mutant lights up like a carnival ride. Only the consequences are infinitely higher. Beefs T.V. posted this little gem this morning, highlighting some stellar rides as more than one barrel actually stayed open. The film crew called it, “arguably the best swell so far this summer.” Speaking of debatable statements, is there a more dramatic ocean wave in the U.S. than the dirty ol’ Wedge? The footage and amount of carnage coming out of the place certainly backs that claim up.
