Surfing isn’t just about surfing. Oh, sure, there’s that day-to-day kind of surfing that fills the gaps, but surfing is about searching. It’s not the destination, as they say, it’s the journey. It’s about taking risks, throwing the dice, and hoping for the best. And there is no one else on that journey quite like Timmy Reyes.
Reyes, along with Noah Wegrich, pulled the trigger on a surf trip up the Tasman Sea. They found themselves in a remote area full of wild weather and wild waves. Between plane rides, van rides, and helicopter rides, they spent their days looking for waves, fish, and most importantly fun. And it looks to us like they found what they were looking for.
