The Inertia

Do you know how famous Gabriel Medina is in Brazil? He’s very famous. Like Kelly-anywhere-in-the-world famous. Legions of screaming fans! Flashy cars! Women, cash, liquor! Medina is a rock star, only he surfs very well. He’s in countless advertisements (remember these armpit shaving gems?!) and now, in a perfect marriage of song and sex, Medina gets felt up by Luiza Possi, a singer who sort of looks like a grown-up version of Cindy Lou Who. Right?

Cindy Lou Who is Luiza Possi

RIGHT!?

And oh, how much sexy! Sweating and showering and close-ups of spit-filled mouths! It’s love in black and white. It’s the film version of Coelho’s words: “Anyone who is in love is making love the whole time, even when they’re not. When two bodies meet, it is just the cup overflowing. They can stay together for hours, even days. They begin the dance one day and finish it the next, or—such is the pleasure they experience—they may never finish it. No eleven minutes for them.

Medina ain’t no 11-minute man!
