A lot of people bag on foamies. Those people are missing out on a whole lot of fun. Surfing ain’t serious, after all, and what someone else is riding doesn’t matter. Foamies are great for those small days. They’re great for the bigger days when you just want to try something new. For most people, though, they’re not great for Pipeline… Jamie O’Brien, though, isn’t most people. He’s doing things on foamies that shouldn’t be possible. Massive Pipeline on a foam log? Not possible–unless you’re J.O.B.
