Ziggy Marley is a legend. He’s far more than just the son of Bob Marley — he led the family band, Ziggy Marley and the Melody Makers, released eight studio albums, and won Grammy Awards. Ziggy is one of 12 children in the Marley family.
As one might imagine, growing up as a Marley would turn someone into an interesting person. So interesting, in fact, that the World Surf League’s podcast, The Lineup, brought him onto their normally-surfy talk show to talk non-surfy stuff. Dave Prodan sat down across the internet to talk about Ziggy’s personal connection with the ocean, share stories about his humble upbringing, how he got into music, and discuss the importance of love and being free.
