The Nathan Florence slab tour continues with a stop in… Africa? That’s what the title of his latest video says, at least. However, Australian fans immediately called out the red herring, pointing out that the scenery sure as hell looks a lot more like Western Australia than Skeleton Bay.
One look at the waves on tap and Florence’s bit of cheeky deception can be forgiven, though. Wherever those things are, the barrels on offer are perfect, as long as you pay the price. Nathan and brother Ivan logged a solid session in the unforgiving lineup, scoring tubes and enduring wipeouts in equal measure.
“Got some barrels, got some beatdowns,” summed up Nathan. “Couldn’t ask for a better one”
