Henning is a German transplant who has called Southern California his home since 2007. He met his wife here in 2002 and they now have a little boy, which limits his time with the Upper Trestles dawn patrol crew. Just a little though. He grew up vert skating in the '80s, became a passionate snowboarder, and now loves surfing. Henning was a writer in Germany for a skate mag over a decade ago and just now picked up the pen again. Besides that, he is just another happy father/husband, health-food eating, yoga practicing, adventure-loving outdoor fanatic, eco-conscious, hardcore kid in an older shell.
