Matt Pruett is formerly the Editor of Eastern Surf Magazine, stepping down after eight years in 2009 to take an Editor At Large position in the field for ESM and EasternSurf.com. He has co-authored one book (Wavescape: Portraits of the Planet's Best Surf Spots), directed one surf movie (Always Right), serves as an Assignment Writer forSurfer, Surfing, Transworld Surf, Stab, Surfline, and ESPN, while also contributing to Surf Europe, Carve, Surfin' Life Japan, Metro Magazine online or print outlet with a decent word rate and some sense of integrity. He lives alone on the Outer Banks of North Carolina where he's undoubtedly waiting on a check from somebody right now.
