During the final week of June surfers, artists, filmmakers and creative minds of all types are going to join at the Surfilmfestibal 13 in San Sebastian. They’ll be there to explore the history of surfing in Spain, the #LobosPorSiempre campaign in Chile, and even to see art exhibits showcasing the social and even economic value of our most precious commodity: waves. It’s surfing in high-culture. Thought provoking, soulful and earnest.
One of the festival’s shorts, is just that. Hermosa Particula gets right to the point by opening with a powerful message. “To understand about the sea, it is necessary to understand about mountains”. It’s a celebration of all things nature, whether it’s those waves or the long, drawn out turns made through the snow. This is what makes us jump out of bed in the morning. Enjoy!
