Wednesday, January 22nd saw two things on Maui: the filming of Point Break 2 and absolutely huge conditions out at Jaws.
A few weeks ago, I wrote an open letter to Gerard Butler about my qualms about a Point Break remake. If there is any footage of something like this in that film, I take it all back. And although I love that Butler took a few on the head at Pillar Point for the filming of Chasing Mavericks, I hope to God he didn’t venture anywhere near these conditions.
Although towing has been out of the spotlight lately, there are times when it really is spectacular. And this is most definitely one of those times.
