Lower Trestles is a difficult place to surf. On most days, the lineup is choked with a manner of surfers, most of them a little better than average. It’s hectic. The wave, though, on a good day, is worth every bit of the struggle.
Of course, if you’re Kalani Robb or Tyler Stanaland, the everyday issues the average surfer faces are a little easier to manage. Above, Robb and Stanaland have a full-blown party on a set of finless little foamies—and it’s what surfing is all about.
