Jamie O’Brien watches himself surfing more than most people. He films nearly every session, from the beach, with a drone, and with a GoPro. Mouth-mounts, handheld, pole-mounted GoPros. All kinds of views. This one, however, is a new one, even to JOB. “Giant Mexican barrels in a way I’ve never seen them before,” he wrote about filming with a GoPro Fusion.
The Fusion is an interesting little camera. Two fisheye lenses on each of the two flat sides work together to stitch together an eyeball-bending view from inside the tube—and while it may not be what Jamie is seeing, it sure does show things from an interesting perspective.
