Clay Marzo likes to stay at home. He likes his Maui waves. He likes to shoot hoops near his house. But since he is one of the best surfers on the planet (the best, if you ask me), he has to leave every now and then. On a recent trip to Oahu, Marzo stepped onto a range of Catch Surf boards and proceeded to do things that didn’t seem possible.
“This is a raw cut of the mind-blowing surfing that went down,” Catch Surf wrote. “In the vid, Clay shreds his signature 54 Special, Kalani Robb Stand Up Boog, 7′ T&C LOG and the KR Twig.”
Marzo’s surfing, as usual, is hard to comprehend. He does things that no one else can do, and he does them with such frequency that it’s safe to say he’s the only one who can surf like Clay.
