Kai Lenny is a bit of an outlier in surfing. That’s because he’s not just good at surfing. He’s great at a pile of different ocean-related disciplines, and one of those is winging. He’s one of the rare few who can make surfing giant Jaws look possible. That’s because he surfs it the same way a normal professional surfs a normal-sized wave. When it comes to big waves, Kai Lenny is one of the best to ever do it.
But he’s not just one of the best to ever do it on a regular ol’ surfboard. Give him a paddle or a foil or a wing or a sail, and he’s going to be better than 99.9 percent of the rest of the planet. Here, Kai puts his wing-surfing skills to the test, and it’s fair to say that he most definitely passed with flying colors.
