With over 13 years of experience taking people for structured exercise, Ash Boddy is the highest level CHEK Practitioner in Scotland: he is a CHEK Practitioner Level 2, Holistic Lifestyle Coach Level 1 and a passionate surfer. He is the Lead Coach at Boddy Language--a private health and wellness studio in Edinburgh. Ash hails from Australia, with a keen passion for most things aquatic (less synchronised swimming). The water and fitness has always been a big part of Ash’s life. He has competed at both national and state levels as a junior swimmer. But with a background as an Australian Infantry Officer, United Nations Military Observer in Sudan, and Deputy Programme Manager of mineclearance operations with The HALO Trust in Cambodia, Ash also brings some real-world experience into his life and those of his clients. Ash specialises in the creation of highly personalised corrective flexibility, stability and strength programmes. As a C.H.E.K. Practitioner, Ash views the body as a system of systems, and looks to correct orthopedic and often idiopathic issues using holistic approaches to nutrition, exercise and lifestyle modification.
