Avery Schuyler Nunn / @earthyave is a California based writer, photographer and science journalist. Her love for the planet and its creatures was fostered at a young age, as she bounded barefoot through the moss-lined woods in Chestnut Hill, Pennsylvania and explored oceanic stories between the jetties in Ocean City, NJ. From the mountains to the waves, the environment has inspired every facet of her work and life since. In 2021, Avery graduated with her Master of Science degree from Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism, where she specialized in investigative science reporting and climate-driven redistribution of marine species. Avery is an avid surfer, runner, yogi and absolute Paul McCartney fangirl. She's also probably asked to pet your dog.
