I've been into surfing and photography for most of my life. I live in Margaret River with my young family, shooting from both land and water - although water photography has been a little more difficult over the past year since suffering a serious leg injury whilst shooting a nearby shore break. The southwest region of western Australia offers a pristine environment that brings swells year round. While I enjoy shooting pro surfers, the region is rich in talented locals who give me as much enjoyment from shooting underground chargers. In fact, I'll often go out of my way to find these 'underground' types and capture their antics at heaving beach breaks or hollow powerful reef breaks.
