As surfers, mountain people, and urban explorers, we at The Inertia are huge fans of electric bikes for their usefulness, versatility, and all-around fun. Electric bikes have opened up a whole new world of exploration for everyone, both leveling the playing field and expanding the boundaries of this proverbial arena beyond what we thought was possible.

They make it possible to go get a few waves before work at harder-to-access surf breaks like Trestles in Southern California. Hard to park in your city? Not anymore (just don’t forget your bike lock). And let’s not forget the massive accessibility benefit that they provide to those who can’t afford a car or wouldn’t be able to ride a regular bike up steeper hills.
